DEFECT INSPECTIONS
A good start has positive influence on successful completion.
That is why our customers always advisable to pre seeking bids and selection of contractors, perform defects inspection, if possible in operation of the facility.
THE CAUSE OF IMPROPER OPERATION OF ROTARY KILN
HOT BEARINGS
The radial and axial bearings
Geometry of kiln axis
Oblique of roll axis
Axial “walking” of the kiln
Lubrication and wear of the bearing
The geometric shape of rolls and rings
FALL OF THE WALLING
Geometry of kiln axis
Ovality of the shell
Deformation of rolls and rings
Proper fit rolls and rings
Crack of the shell and roll axle
Inclination of the kiln
OBLIQUE OF THE ROLLS
Oblique of rolls
Improper burden
Touch of the ring and rolls
Wear of the components
Iregular geometry of the kiln
Kiln drive
THE CONE ROLLS AND RINGS
The cone rolls and rings
Shape deformation
The radial axial clearence
Inclination of the drive and kiln
Condition connections of tooth wreath and the kiln shell
Condition of axial and radial bearings
TYPES OF DEFECTS INSPECTION
DEFECT INSPECTION DETERMINED BY MEASURING OF MECHANICAL ELEMENTS
- The radial and axial deviation of supporting rollers and rings.
- Measurements of the diameters of the rings and roll.
- Defining the geometric shapes (conical, concave, convex).
- Measuring of the temperature.
- Measurement of elements tolerances.
- Measuring the hardness of contact surfaces.
- Evaluation of the overall situation.
- The conclusion of the proposed measures for rehabilitation.
DEFECT INSPECTION DETERMINED BY GEODETIC MEASUREMENTS
- Geodetic measurements are performed in a hot condition (during operation) or cold condition (during standstill).
- The aim (purpose) of measurements is to create conditions for the regulation (coarse and fine) to bring the object in optimal condition.
